Hydraulic cutting head for steel armoured CU/AL cables up to Ø 85 mm
The S85G from KW Hydraulik is a versatile hydraulic cutting head in guillotine design, developed for cutting copper and aluminium cables with light to medium steel armouring, including NKBA and XLPE-insulated low and medium voltage cables.
With a cutting force of 70 kN at 700 bar and 85 kN at 850 bar, the S85G offers impressive power and precision. The blade grinding is specially adapted to steel-reinforced conductors.
Thanks to the integrated finger guard and a locking lever design that allows the cutting head to be opened in any position, even jammed cables can be released easily and safely - perfect for professional use.
