Firefighting - High-pressure systems with ultra-fine water mist for efficient, gentle extinguishing
The high-pressure water mist systems from KW Hydraulik enable efficient, safe and water-saving firefighting. The use of ultra-fine water mist achieves particularly high heat retention, which quickly smothers the flames - without the considerable water damage that often occurs with conventional extinguishing methods. This technology is ideal for mobile use on fire engines, municipal vehicles and specialised machinery.
Thanks to the flexible integration into different carrier vehicles and machines, the high-pressure systems can be used on fire engines, aerial work platforms, lorries, commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles. This means they can be used reliably in urban areas as well as in areas that are difficult to access.
The systems offer a wide range of applications, including classic firefighting, foaming, surface cleaning, high-pressure cleaning and additional tasks in disaster control and technical emergency services.
The high-pressure systems are supplied as complete system kits and include a powerful HPW high-pressure pump (piston-to-piston type), a foam mixer (0-6 %) and a multi-purpose nozzle gun that combines foam, mist and spot jets in a single tool. This makes the systems particularly flexible in different extinguishing scenarios.
The firefighting systems are powered by the vehicle engine's PTO hydraulic drive, which means that no separate power source is required. In addition, auxiliary power generators such as generators, CAFS compressors or PowerPacks can be integrated to supply additional equipment with energy.
