Hydraulic cable cutting heads for professional cutting work up to Ø 300 mm
Our hydraulic cable cutting heads have been specially developed for connection to high-pressure pumps with 700 bar working pressure and are suitable for cleanly cutting large cable cross-sections in demanding environments.
They are available in a single-acting version (one hydraulic hose) with spring return for cable diameters up to Ø 160 mm. For applications with a particularly high restoring torque or where there is a potential risk of the cutting blade becoming jammed, we recommend the double-acting version (two hydraulic hoses) with hydraulic retraction Ø300 mm.
The cutting heads are compatible with all standard high-pressure units - ideal for energy suppliers, industrial electrics, recycling or temporary use on construction sites. The robust design ensures maximum service life and low-maintenance operation even under the toughest conditions.
Depending on the model, cutting heads with different cutting inserts are available to adapt the performance to different cable types (e.g. steel-reinforced, solid or fine-stranded cables). All devices are CE-compliant and designed for permanent outdoor use.

What is the difference between single-acting and double-acting cutting heads?
Single-acting cutting heads have a hydraulic feed and a mechanical spring return. Double-acting models, on the other hand, have both a hydraulic feed and return - ideal for high cutting forces or where there is a risk of jamming.
What cable diameters can be cut with hydraulic cutting heads?
Depending on the model, cables with an outer diameter of up to Ø 160 mm (single-acting) or Ø 300 mm (double-acting) can be cut safely and cleanly.
What should you look out for when selecting a cutting head?
The decisive factors are the desired cable diameter, the material (e.g. steel armouring), the type of hydraulics (single/double-acting) and the pump compatibility. We will be happy to advise you individually.
Can I use the cutting head with existing hydraulic pumps?
Yes, our cutting heads are compatible with all standard 700 bar hydraulic pumps. Make sure you have the right type of hydraulic connection(single or double-acting).
