New HMG Pro hydraulic magnetic generator with intelligent functions
The new HMG Pro hydraulic magnetic generator series has intelligent functions. The new versions of the magnet generator have an updated design and updated functions called DSMART. The magnet generators still have the world's fastest demagnetisation time of 0.8 seconds. In addition to the DSMART functions, the magnet generator frames have been significantly reduced in size. For example, the HMG Pro 20 is about half the size of its predecessor model, but still maintains its performance level. As the sizes have shrunk considerably, the new magnetic generators are easier to install in machines.
DSmart - Mobile application for controlling the solenoid and collecting data
- New magnet generator models can be paired with a mobile device via a Bluetooth connection using the DSmart application
- The application can be downloaded to a mobile device (phone, tablet) via GooglePlay, the AppStore or the DYNASET website.
- The system is based on a microcontroller with Bluetooth and CANbus option

- Download the application from the Apple or Google Play Store or from the Dynaset website
- To establishaconnection between the mobile application and the magnet generator, the generator must be running first.
- Accept all authorisations in the settings requested by the application (Bluetooth, location, etc.)
- Click on the "Start scanning" button; now your device will start to connect to your magnet generator
- Enter the serial number of the generator

DSmart functionalities of the magnet
The application enables a magnet to fulfil various functions:

DSmart - "Sorting" functionality
- Select the "Sort" activity in the application menu.

With the "Sort" functionality, the collected metal material can be sorted. "Sorting" here means that the lowest part of the load can be discarded.
Lift the metal load with the magnet and press the magnet button down. Keep it pressed.
When the first pieces of metal fall down, release the magnetisation button. HMG PRO continues to magnetise with the nominal magnetisation voltage of 220 VDC - If the button is released too early (less than 0.5 s), sorting takes place The function is not activated and the magnet remains in place until the end of demagnetisation, the load drops
DSmart - "Normal" and "Quick start" functions
The "Normal mode" function sets the solenoid to the nominal voltage.
"Fast Up" functionality; the purpose is to speed up the solenoid reaching rated power compared to normal use
- Activate the "Fast Up" functionality in the application
- When the solenoid is active, demagnetise it
- The control box has now set the voltage of the solenoid to 270 VDC
- Perform magnetisation. As the voltage requirement is temporarily set higher than in normal operation, the rated power is reached more quickly
- The controller reduces the voltage linearly to the nominal voltage of 220 VDC within two seconds
Concepts
HMG PRO Dsmart = magnetic generator, includes Dsmart compatibility. NO DSMART FUNCTIONS.

NOTE! No external power source from the basic machine is required to control the magnet generator (ON/OFF).
(Generates its own energy ==> requires an external generator to be switched on).
Dsmart wiring harness = Dsmart module + wiring harness with which the Dsmart functions can be used (except HMG 3kW, which has limited functions).
- With the wiring harness it is possible to use various solenoid applications, collect usage data, real-time monitoring and data logging for diagnostic purposes.
- If the Dsmart module is damaged, the solenoid can still be used with the push button.
- The control wiring harness is always available separately.
- This switches on the oil flow of the alternator. SV can no longer be controlled/switched on via the PRO Centre.
