The AS23 is a compact angle grinder/cut-off saw; its hydraulic drive is characterised by power, smooth running and a long service life. Thanks to these features, the AS23-UW is particularly suitable for underwater work. Electric shocks are ruled out thanks to the hydraulic drive. It can be fitted with standard discs up to Ø 230 mm or with metal brushes. When fitted with a cutting disc, the AS23-UW becomes a precision cut-off saw.The angle grinder stops automatically via the system’s pressure relief valve if the cutting disc becomes jammed. It is completely resistant to water and dust, and all parts run in oil. HYCON PREMIUM saws are designed for heavy, daily use – without any downtime. The fact that the saw operates continuously and requires no maintenance makes it more cost-effective than, for example, a petrol-powered saw. Thanks to the system’s pressure relief valve, the saw stops automatically if the saw blade becomes jammed. Once the trigger is released, it takes a maximum of 10 seconds for the blade to come to a standstill. This means there is no risk of injury to the operator. The HYCON hydraulic cut-off saw is suitable for both horizontal and vertical cutting tasks. A high-quality motor with direct hydraulic drive ensures low maintenance requirements.
