SETYS-SOLAR, a system for cleaning solar cells, was developed based on experience in the design and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. It can be fitted to machines in the JOY-1-SOLAR and JOY-2-SOLAR series without any modifications to the hydraulics or the supporting structure. The equipment consists of a rotating brush with a diameter of 1000 mm for a working length of 3200/6600 mm and is manufactured using patented, water-repellent special materials that allow the solar cells to be cleaned without causing scratches. The brush is driven by a hydraulic gear motor connected to the machine system. The system for positioning the brush on the solar cells is hydraulically controlled so that it always remains in the correct working position at all times. Following appropriate technical testing, SETYS-SOLAR can be fitted to crawler excavators or construction machinery. Technical specifications Water injection manifold complete with nozzles and valves to ensure washing in both directions of travel. Diaphragm pump with a maximum flow rate of 150 litres per minute at 50 bar, also suitable for wash water containing additives. Collection tank with a capacity of 1,000 litres, mounted on a side bracket, easily accessible and replaceable.
